Rythu Bandhu Agriculture Investment Support Scheme has launched by the Chief Minister of Telangana (Mr. K. Chandrashekhar Rao). Telangana Rythu Bandhu Agriculture Investment Support Scheme and it began on 10 May 2018. Since the inception of the Rythu Bandhu Yojana, about 59.26 lakh farmers have been benefitted under this scheme. Thousands of farmer families have benefited from the Rythu Bandhu scheme. Every farmer will be given Rs. 5000/- per acre for the crop by the TS Government.  The government has paid INR 2,938 crore as a premium for insurance cover to the farmers under the Rythu Bandhu Scheme. Under this scheme, only those farmers who actually cultivate their land will be given benefits by the government.

Eligibility Criteria for the Rythu Bandhu Scheme

To avail of benefits under the Rythu Bandhu Scheme, a candidate must be a farmer. The candidate should be a permanent resident of Telangana State. It is mandatory for a candidate to be a marginal farmer. The candidate should have land but do not have large land. The same farmers will get the benefit of the scheme, who cultivate their land. Commercial farmers will not get the benefit of the Rythu Bandhu Scheme.
