AP Jagananna Vasthi Deevena Scheme was launched by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. Jagananna Vasthi Deevena (JVD) Scheme was started on 24 February 2020. CM Jagan Mohan Reddy has started this Scheme for financial support to students. Students who studying Polytechnic Diploma, ITI Diploma, Degree and PG Courses in Government or Private colleges / Universities can get benefits through this scheme. Andhra Pradesh Government will be releasing 1st Installment on  09 April 2021. AP Govt. will be releasing Jagananna Vasathi Deevena Scheme 2nd Installment in 2022. Good News: The cabinet decided to provide laptops to students of classes 9-12 instead of cash incentives under the Amma Vodi & Vasati Deevena scheme. Under Amma Vodi Scheme 8,21,655 students of 9-12 classes and Under Vasati Deevena Scheme 1,10,779 beneficiaries have finalized for a laptop instead of cash amount.

Under the AP Jagananna Vasathi, Deevena Scheme students will get financial support from the State Government for their studies. AP State Govt. will provide financial assistance in two installments. Students of ITI Diploma will get financial support of Rs. 10,000/-. Students of Polytechnic Diploma courses will get financial assistance of Rs. 15,000/-. Students pursuing in Degree Courses (BA / BSC / BCOM), Polytechnic Diploma Course, ITI Diploma Courses, PG Courses, PH.D. Course. Students studied in Government or Government Aided Private Colleges affiliated by State Universities. The student’s family income should be less than Rs 2.5 Lakh per Year. Applicants must have less than 10 acres / agricultural acre less than 25 acres of wetland Applicants should not own any Four- Wheelers. Government Employees are not eligible for this scheme. If anyone in the family is taking advantage of the pension scheme then you are not eligible for this plan.
